The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about great change and uncertainty. Safety-net dental clinics and nonprofit organizations are being asked to do more than ever before.
The Delta Dental Foundation recognizes that and created a $600,000 COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund to address the increased need in the communities we serve.
Funding was awarded to safety-net dental clinics, food banks/pantries, homeless shelters, hospitals and other community organizations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana with a health and wellness focus. Recipients will also receive a supply of toothbrushes and dental emergency rack cards to hand out to those in need.
