Giving back
Through Delta Dental's two philanthropic programs – the Delta Dental Foundation and the Community Relations Program, we direct our charitable giving to make a real and lasting difference for the people in the communities we serve. We do this by providing grants to organizations and causes that support our goals of improving oral health and enhancing quality of life.

Improving children's health
Delta Dental is an enthusiastic supporter of improving children's health, and serves as an administrator of dental benefits for programs such as MIChild and Healthy Kids Dental. Delta Dental also provides funding for the Varnish! Michigan program.

Varnish! Michigan helps kids fight tooth decay
Through a $250,000 grant from Delta Dental, the Michigan Department of Community Health launched the Varnish! Michigan program. The fluroide varnish program is expected to help 16,000 Early Head Start and Head Start children fight tooth decay. View a slide show from a recent fluoride application at a Detroit Head Start.
