Position Detail: This position is responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining software and hardware configurations necessary to accomplish the corporation's claims processing goals.

Qualifications: Position requires a bachelor's degree with relevant course work in computer science, programming, or information systems and three to six years of related experience as a system administrator; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires the ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve moderately complex problems, has some latitude for independent judgment, ability to work under general direction, possess effective communication skills, and have an intermediate level of internal and external contacts. Decisions have moderate impact on the organization. Position requires the ability to provide on-call support twenty-four hours a day seven days a week.

Additional Qualifications: 4+ years overall experience with at least the last 2 years focused on providing technical support across a broad range of Microsoft technologies including: Active directory (AD) required with demonstrated knowledge with AD design and configuring architectures and strategies, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, IIS 7.0. 2003/2008 MCSE is desireable. VMware VSphere experience is desireable. Position requires experience with Windows server configuration and administration that extends beyond day-to-day monitoring and maintenance activities. Knowledge and experience with server hardware components and internals as well as server build and configuration experience is required.
