Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit, or electronic funds transfer
(EFT), makes it possible for dental offices to receive
payment directly into their bank accounts, usually within
a few days of claims submission.
How
does it work? Direct deposit is available
to any participating dentist registered with the Dental
Office Toolkit. When you sign up for Direct Deposit,
an electronic financial transaction is made to your
specified bank account. A transaction path is created
when you provide your bank account number and bank routing
number, both of which are printed on your account checks.
With Direct Deposit, you can:
-
Receive electronic documents
-
Receive payments
-
View claims payment information posted to your
activity log on the Dental Office Toolkit
-
Receive claim payment remittance advice and check
statements, claim payment statement/EOBs and predeterminations
online, eliminating extra paperwork and reducing
paperwork received through the U.S. mail
The advantages of Direct
Deposit include:
Fast payment.
Using Direct Deposit in combination with Dental Office
Toolkit claims submission results in payment usually
within 48 hours of the claims submission.
Efficiency.
With Direct Deposit, theres no mail to sort or
