Delta Dental, U of M School of Dentistry Offer Continuing Education Seminar in Gaylord

August 2, 2007 (Okemos, Mich.) — Implant therapy is the focus of the fall 2007 dental seminar on Friday, September 21, at Treetops Resort in Gaylord. The annual continuing education seminar for dental professionals is sponsored by the Delta Dental Foundation in conjunction with the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

The seminar, Implant Therapy 101, will feature information on how to incorporate this new discipline into daily practice, while providing participants with information on the various procedures involved in implant treatment. Dental professionals who attend the full-day seminar will earn six hours of continuing dental education credits.

Hom-Lay Wang, D.D.S., M.S.D, will serve as the speaker at this year’s seminar. Dr. Wang is a professor of periodontics and director of graduate periodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Wang’s research focuses on guided tissue/bone regeneration, implant esthetics, as well as oral plastic surgery. He has conducted more than 400 professional and scientific lectures nationally and internationally.

This seminar is for dentists and their allied dental personnel. The course fee is $50 per person; early registration is recommended. The deadline for registration is September 7, 2007.
