Hundreds of Delta Dental employees volunteer across Mid-Michigan
Okemos, Michigan—Delta Dental employees and their families will participate in Delta Dental’s Days of Doing in honor of the company’s 60th anniversary.
Employees will dedicate their time volunteering at three nonprofit organizations across Mid-Michigan over the next two weeks.
“Corporate citizenship and philanthropy are engrained in the culture at Delta Dental,” said Teri Battaglieri, Director of Communications, Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy at Delta Dental. “Employees regularly donate their time and resources to local organizations, so a company-wide volunteer effort was the perfect way to celebrate 60 years in Michigan and give back to our communities.”
In 2016, Delta Dental employees dedicated 1,415 company-sponsored volunteer hours to various organizations across Michigan.
Delta Dental’s Days of Doing will kick off Saturday at Small Talk Children’s Assessment Center in Lansing, where child victims of physical and sexual abuse are interviewed and offered therapy at no cost.
