Don’t let germs jump around!
With the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to pay attention to how germs spread.
We want you to stay healthy today and every day. Follow these tips to keep your smile and your whole body healthy.
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after you brush your teeth.
- Sharing is nice, but don’t share your toothbrush, floss or even the floss container.
- Rinse your toothbrush after brushing and let it dry upright. Don’t let it touch other toothbrushes.
- Toothbrushes might benefit from regular cleaning. To do this, let your toothbrush soak in antibacterial mouthwash for 15 minutes. Then air dry.
If you believe you have a dental emergency, there are clinics that are open and able to treat you. Click here for a list of clinics, which all accept Medicaid. This includes Healthy Kids Dental. The list is updated frequently, but you should call the clinic before visiting to make sure it is still open.
